The first computer accounting applications, created in the late 70’s, were the beginning of business automation. By expanding them with additional functions (procurement, sales, production …), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems that have significantly accelerated and facilitated business have been created, but have never fully covered the complete business processes.
In any more complex business process, there are a number of activities that accounting applications simply have not been able to automate. The main reason was that the necessary technologies were not available, and the new approach, in which the entire business process would be mapped and executed through the application, would require project development “from scratch” – which is too expensive and too long even for the largest software companies. Thus, ERP only partially automated business, and other functions in more complex processes were generally not automated. Attempts to solve these functions with special tools, such as DMS (Document Management System), IM (Instant Messaging), mobile and other applications, do not give satisfactory results due to the minimal possibilities of integration with the company’s ERP.
Apollo ROSA, unlike everything else available on the market, does not represent the integration of different packages and applications. Apollo ROSA is a unique application that includes all the functions that were traditionally performed by various tools (ERP, DMS, IM …). All business processes and all documents, both bookkeeping (ERP) and all others (DMS – requests, orders, approvals, offers, plans, images, drawings …) are processed in a unique, identical way. With the provision of all necessary communication, internal and external (SMS, IM and email) during the execution of the process.
